Perhaps the mystic portal of beverage nirvana has at last opened in Kansai, for today I discovered Mountain Dew in glass bottles in a Lawson. Of course I bought them all. And ordered a case. Until now I have been making my Hiroshima friends bring it to me when they come to Osaka. By the way I think it tastes better from the bottle. Like everything, I guess. Anyway, still a bit jealous of the ubiquitousness of Dew where you are. But let me ask you this: Do you have blue raspberry syrup? Cuz I do! Sucker!
First, great picture. Second, I know that feeling exactly. If I had still had the picture of our first discovery, I'd email it to you so you could post it alongside.
About damn time, Hack :-) I'm glad you were able to find the sweet nectar. Reread a conversation that we had when I was in France, and it made me wonder again how you're doing. Shoot me an email or something, eh? :-)

I thought that you and Gomi DID snap a pic of you in front of that Dew machine on that retreat . . . am I going nuts?
BTW, we moved, hence the retreat underground, but things are settling down again--expect more posts from me, and maybe even a blog entry or two.
